As you have already read above, my name is Dina, and I am the owner of Happy Dog Hotel. I would love to have the opportunity to give your dog a vacation (board) while you have your vacation or any other reason you need to have your dog cared for while you are unavailable.

My entire life has been one huge love for animals (dogs, horses, and cows) and training my dogs all sorts of tricks and behaviors while growing up. Before my 3 children grew up and moved away, the training of my dogs (other than basic obedience) was put on hold and I enjoyed the years with my sons and daughter doing their things like baseball, basketball, rodeo, etc. Now that I am retired, I have time to bring my dreams to reality-Happy Dog Hotel Boarding and Training. I am a certified dog trainer through Westerm States K9 College, and specialize in behavior modification. Currently I have 12 dogs of my own-7 Border Collies, 1 Australian Shepherd, 1 Chihuahua, 1 Beagle, 1 Chocolate Lab, and 1 Husky mix- so I can assure you I am not inexperienced with dogs. I use some of my Border Collies for Search and Rescue as cadaver dogs, training one of them as a live find search dog, and one I am training to be an arson dog when investigtions need to determine if a fire was accidental or intentional. The others are pets who are greatly loved, and 2 of them were thrown away by people so they are now part of my family.

I believe any dog that is boarding should be treated like a loved pet, not just a “filler” for a kennel, that’s why Happy Dog Hotel is on the same property (several acres) where I live so I can always be “just a bark away” in case there is a problem. Each dog gets personal care and walks to enjoy their time here as well as a last minute night time potty break just before lights out. All dogs are kenneled separately, unless family members and requested otherwise, in order to protect from the unexpected “woke up on the wrong side of the bed” day that ocassionally happens. I strive to keep each and every dog as safe as I do my own dogs.
